It's easy to open and close the side panel using a new mechanism. It's also more flexible than its predecessor, having 11 different height settings and retractable legs for a secure place under any bed.
Our testers loved the ease of use offered by the side panel, that can be moved up and down with one click of a button. This was an enormous help during night time feeds, as it meant they could reach into and take their baby away without disturbing them up.
The side panel can be lowered on its own however, it's not recommended since it increases the chance of your baby falling out of the cot. The safety locking system makes sure that the side panel will only remain in place when it is attached correctly to the parent's mattress. This is an excellent feature to have for peace of mind, particularly in the case of breastfeeding and frequent feedings at night.

It's a bit heavier than other side-sleepers, but it's easily moved from one area to another. It's also able to fold into a travel bag which is a great option if you want to transport it.
